Mountain Inspired, Fashion Forward | Branding Photography for Ransom Jasper
Living in a gorgeous place, having friends who own clothing shops, and friends (and a partner) who are willing to model for me has given me lots of time to practice lifestyle branding photography!
When I first started getting into photography, my friend Ingrid and I would go out to a location and start taking some photos. At the time, she worked at Ransom Jasper , a locally owned clothing store here in the Rockies. We approached the owner, who happens to be a friend of ours, to see if we could āborrowā some clothes for the shoot in exchange for using the photos we take on her social media platforms @ransomjasper and Ransom Jasper . Only in a small town could you āborrowā clothes from a shop to practice photography!
This collaboration with Ransom lead to many opportunities to work with other local businesses in Jasper, from flower shops and outdoor gear shops to restaurants, hotels and so much more!
I truly believe in the power of quality images as part of any businesses branding. A photo of a product, or the face behind the brand can bring more engagement to social media platforms and make websites look so much more professional.
Branding photography has allowed me to expand my business into building websites as well! Iām currently in the process of putting together packages for local business which include web design and branding photography.
